Sheila [ADOPTED FEBRUARY 7] found herself in a shelter at the age of ten. When we saw the pictures of the sweet little girl with the sad eyes in a Michigan shelter, we told our Michigan volunteer to “Go get her”. The surrender form at the shelter stated the following “they retired and want to see the states in their motor home - dog is inconvenient." We do not find her inconvenient at all. We find her to be a sweet, loving dog who has a lot of love left to give.
Sheila is shaved down but when her coat grows back she will be a beautiful silver buff. As you can see in her pictures, she has a full tail. I do think she may chase cats as she gets very excited when she sees one. She is housetrained and can be crated but it is not really necessary. She has done well with other dogs.
