Lucy [ADOPTED JULY 12] is a two year old female who came into rescue as a result of the flooding in Southeastern Wisconsin. Her family's home was destroyed and they moved into a home that did not allow pets. She has been well taken care although she is a bit overweight. She has done very well with the other dogs in her foster home and recently met her first cat. She was terrified. She had obviously never seen a cat before. Lucy is not relaxed around strangers so would do best in a quiet home without children. Once she knows a person she is really a lover. She is reportedly protective of toys and food. She has not demonstrated that since she has been in rescue.
Lucy in both crate trained and housetrained.
More as we get to know her.
