Passed over the Rainbow Bridge Febuary 2018
We went after Wilson in Wisconsin of November 2006. It was the first time we had ever seen a thunder snow. He was very good on the way home and would let us know when he needed out. Once in his new home he became a good buddy for Mercedes our other Shorewood rescue. Though smaller, he let her be the boss. He was definitely a mama's boy and loved to give kisses. As he got older he developed a heart murmer, and congestive hear failure. He was also on meds for this thyroid, and arthritis in his back. Always a sweetheart, and friendly to everyone. He had started bleeding from mouth, and sadly I had to say goodbye on February 21, 2018. He will always be in my heart, and I know that someday we will be together again, along with his other sisters who passed before him. He would have been 13 this year in May. We do still have little Mercedes who will be 14. Til we meet again my sweet boy.
Wilson [ADOPTED NOVEMBER 11] is approximately 18 months old. He was found running down the road after a bad rain storm and was taken to animal control. He is quite thin so he must have been running for quite a while. He stole the hearts of everyone at the facilty with his wonderful, sweet personality. He is housetrained and crate trained and thinks other animals are just fine. Wilson is field coated so he will not require much grooming. Our groomer did say that he was a perfect gentleman when she did groom him.
