Wilco081

Passed over the Rainbow Bridge February 29, 2018

We adopted little Wilcox (photo #1) on January 18, 2009.  He was a 4-year-old, chocolate/white/tan tri male who came to Shorewood Cocker Rescue from a commercial breeder in Tennessee, who was cited for neglect. I will never forget how our hearts were immediately captured by him, the first time we saw his photo on the Shorewood Cocker Rescue site.  We pursued the adoption of Wilco and the most amazing little cocker spaniel proceeded to become a very happy part of our family (photo #2).  He was free forever, from that horrible breeder and spent the rest of his life with us, happily roaming the fields on our country property, where he constantly chased his beloved rabbits and gophers and chippies.  Wilco finally had to leave us and gently crossed over the Rainbow
Bridge on February 19, 2018.   We love him and will miss him forever!
