Passed over teh Rainbow Bridge November 17, 2016
One warm day in August 2015 a wonderful ray of sunshine came into our lives, by the name of Sandy.. An elderly white Cocker with lots of kisses who never seemed to meet a stranger and was always with me, for walks, car rides or just to visit. Sandy was a special guy who immediately became one of the family. Sandy came to us with a grade two (2) heart murmur but was not slowed by it at all. He chased bunnies with his step sister Tara, went swimming in the lake and ran in the woods.
On November 17th @ 11:00 pm Sandy passed away, very suddenly, from a heart attack. We miss him a lot but are comforted by knowing his last days were happy.

Hi my name is Sandy [Adopted August 2015]. I am an adorable 33 pound,, 8 year old, white and tan male cocker spaniel. I am house broken and crate trained (with a treat of course!) I am only crated when when my people leave the house, but I really don't need to be. I love everybody both 2 and 4 legged. I am fostered with a 13 year old Chihuahua, 2 cocker spaniels, and a 65 pound Lucy, whom I go outside with, chase squirrels, and sunbath with. I am a very mellow guy that doesn't get upset about anything.
I think somewhere in my past I was trained to stay off furniture and people beds. My mom lets me sleep with her, but I prefer to sleep in the kitchen on the floor, even though there are plenty of dog beds lying around. I am a quiet guy unless I am having a bad dream...then I will wake everyone up with my howl :-) :-)
I have a nose for food and do whatever it takes to get it. I am always on the lookout for food and and will even surf the counter if you leave your sandwich unattended :-)! I am not at all food aggressive, just hungry all the time!!
Moma and Daddy say I am a very sweet boy and a joy to have around. . If u r looking for a companion who loves to give lots of kisses look no further, I am your guy.
