Passed over the Rainbow Bridge 4/11/15
10 years ago Shorewood Cocker Rescue gifted me a lovely boy they had been named Rudy. We believe he was about 2 years old and had been pulled from a kill shelter in Chicago.
Rudy was a sweet boy except to cats and squirrels! He loved his walks and always felt the need to share the guest room bed when company arrived.
He was healthy and happy till a fast growth cancer made life a struggle.
Rudy [ADOPTED FEBRUARY 26] is a 2-3 year old red male Cocker. He's cute as a button and very friendly. He likes to "talk" but will settle down pretty quickly. He loves to play with the other Cockers at his foster home and he's quickly learning about housetraining. He will go in his crate when asked but a treat always helps things along. He's a little thin but is gaining some weight and his coat is improving. Rudy does need some manners and basic obedience but he's working on it and is learning fast. He's a sweet boy who gives kisses and loves to snuggle. He would be a great addition to any household. Probably not one with real young children, only because he jumps and might knock them over with his enthusiasm.
