Passed over the rainbow bridge : November 2, 2013
We adopted Raji in Dec 2011. Raji followed me around all the time and I truly enjoyed every minute of every day that I was able to spend with him. He brought so much happiness to our lives. I thought we would have many years to spend together, but things don't always turn out the way we want them to. Raji passed away on Nov 2, 2013 from liver failure. We love you our little boy and miss you everyday.
Raji [Adopt 12/17/2011] is a handsome light buff male only 5 year old. He was surrendered to a canine rescue in Illinois because his owners could no longer care for him.
In September Raji had knee surgery to correct a luxating patella. He has since healed and is ready to go to his forever home. As much as Raji has gone through with his knee rehabilitation, he has remained a perfect gentleman and never “complained”.
Raji loves all people he meets and gets along very well with other dogs. His activity has been very limited while his knee was healing, but he does enjoy going for walks and now has been allowed to start running a bit in the yard. Raji is a calm, gentle, laid back dog, but he gets quite excited when his foster mom comes home from work. Raji is both housetrained and crate trained. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night, but will let his foster mom know if she has slept in a little too long on the weekends. He enjoys lying by his people on the sofa, and gets to snuggle in bed on weekend mornings which he LOVES !!
Raji is a special boy and is ready to go to his forever home.
