Sweetie [Adopted 2/12/2011] is my name and I am an adorable chocolate female rescued from a commercial breeder. I am 8 years old, but I don’t act my age. Have you ever spent your whole life in a crate having and giving away your babies? It is terrifying, exhausting and sad. My foster mom believes I must have been a great mama because in my dream last week she watched me clean and bathe my newborn babies and I was so loving and gentle. My foster mom says that it matches my personality. Because of my background I must go to a home with a securely fenced yard and at least one other dog in the house. I am very good with other dogs and absolutely adore my canine brothers in my foster home. I love to run out in the yard and in the snow because there are lots of wild animal smells out there. I am crate trained, though I don’t care for it very much. I prefer the pillows on the bed or snuggled in with another pup on a dog bed. I am working hard on my potty training and almost have it down because I am such a smart girl. My foster mom caught me playing with a tennis ball the other day so appropriate play toys would be great. I am shy and a little skittish at first, but be patient with me because I love attention. I am a “me too!” girl. I am a healthy girl who had my dental and some teeth pulled that were bad, and I have a cataract in my left eye, but it doesn’t affect my vision at all. I am ready to please my new family; could it be you?
