Buster [Adopted 9/12/2011] is a beautiful, 3 year old, chocolate male who was surrendered by his family because they did not have the time required by a young cocker. He has been working very hard at his house training and has done very well. He is crate trained, although his foster family reports that he is a gentleman when left alone and so he does not need to be crated much. He is a high energy boy, loves his toys, to be outside in the fresh air, and to be with his people. Buster can’t believe how good he has it now with all of the love and attention he gets and he hopes to have an adult or couple that will give him the love and attention that he deserves. Buster has had limited exposure to young children and would be best in a home where there is little to no contact with children under the age of 12. Buster also needs to work on his socialization with other dogs; he has been working on it and is making small steps in the right direction. He would be best suited in a home with no other dogs or with a home that has a laid back canine companion for Buster to live with.
