Hoover [Adopted 11/24/2010] came to us from a rural shelter. We soon learned he was heartworm positive. He was treated for heartworm and is now ready to go to his forever home. At the age of two, he has his whole life ahead of him. He does well with other dogs but may not be good with cats. He is an energetic little guy but is quiet in the house. He is crate trained but will need some work on his housetraining.
Update from Foster Home 10-16-2010
Hoover has settled in nicely. He is asking to be let outside and really enjoysa good romp around the back yard. He has discovered toys and spends an endless amount of time playing with them.
He also enjoys some fun play time with our other foster dog. He is not a lap dog by any stretch of the imagination even though he will spend a few minutes getting a belly rub. He has that air of a “high class” dog and carries himself that way. He loves greeting the neighbor children and looks forward to seeing them across the fence every day.
