Barnaby [ADOPTED JULY 29] is a 4-year-old, parti-color male who was surrendered to an animal shelter because his family was moving overseas. He’s a carefree, happy-go-lucky, loving and loveable pup with an easy going temperament and an adorable face (love those eyelashes!). He could stand to gain a few pounds to reach his ideal weight of 30 lbs. and because he is a little larger, can be a bit of a counter surfer.
Although Barnaby was not raised or obedience trained in an English-speaking environment, this very intelligent pup has a desire to please and is quickly catching on to basic commands.
He has a moderate activity level – loves to go for walks but is also content to be a couch potato. He enjoys playing with tennis balls in the yard and does best with solid, hard toys.
After initially establishing his dominant role, Barnaby is getting along very well with his foster sister and brother. He would also do well as an only dog.
He is housetrained and crate trained, although he doesn’t need to be crated and has had free run of the house. His foster mom hopes some lucky family adopts him soon because she is becoming quite fond of this great pup!
