Shana [ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 8TH AT THE WIGGLEBUTT WALK] is a sweet little girl who lost her home at the age of ten. She was surrendered at a large inner city animal control facility where she had no chance of adoption. Her previous owner said that she had changed jobs and "it just didn't work out". Shana is housetrained and does not like the crate. She does learn to tolerate a crate but it takes a week or so until she will stop continually barking. She is a bit food protective so she should not be in a home with children. Her ideal home would be with a retired couple with no cats or other small animals. She does well with other dogs.
