Pepper [ADOPTED MARCH 18] is a very sweet, 6 year old, black female who was surrendered because her owner wanted a younger dog. His loss, our gain! Pepper is a wonderful little girl who doesn't ask for much. She is completely house trained and crate trained. Pepper appears to have some food allergies but is now on Duck and Potato food and is doing fine. Her ears will have to be monitored closely.

Pepper gets along with everyone and loves attention. She doesn't get up on the furniture and loves curling up on a dog bed. When she first arrived at our home, she would stare at our cats for hours. As time passed, she become less and less interested in my cats. She would never hurt them but is interested in them so a home with cats would certainly be negotiable.

Pepper is tall and has long legs and is on the thin side. It was necessary for us to shave her coat but her hair is coming in nicely. She loves her walks and rides in the car. She is a wonderful little traveler. Pepper would love a patient and quiet home. We absolutely love this gal and are looking for a very special home for her.
