Buddy [ADOPTED JULY 5] first came to Shorewood Cocker Rescue in late 2003 at the age of two. He was adopted by a very loving family. Then fate dealt the family a cruel blow. The wife found that she has only a few months to live. A decision was made to sell their house and move into a condo so that her husband could better take care of her. There was no room for Buddy or his companion Louie. Buddy retuned to Shorewood Cocker Rescue. He is a quiet sweet boy who is housetrained and crate trained. He does well with other dogs and likes children. Buddy even knows a few basic commands. He is overweight and he will be working on shedding some pounds in the next few weeks.
