Whiskey [ADOPTED AUGUST 23] is a five year old, buff Cocker Spaniel who is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She came to rescue along with Harley and Brandy from their breeder because of a family tragedy. The former owner's daughter was killed in an accident and left behind an infant daughter. Whiskey's owner felt she could no longer care for the three dogs as well as the child, so she surrendered them to rescue.
Unfortunately, all three dogs are shaved to the skin so you cannot see them in their best light. They are all small show type Cockers with wonderful temperaments. Whiskey is an active dog who loves to play, chew bones and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and exceptionally well with children. She walks well on a lead and is just as sweet as can be. She is crate trained and is working on housetraining, but has already improved greatly in only a few days. All three dogs are crate trained but because of spending a lot of time in kennels during the last several months, they need a refresher on housetraining.
