Anarosa [ADOPTED NOVEMBER] is a sweet, seven year old, red female who is spayed, heartworm tested, up to date on shots and microchipped. She came to us from a shelter south of Chicago where she was picked up as a stray. She is good with adults and other dogs. She was adopted on November 19th and her new mom decided against keeping her indicating she was dominant with other dogs wanting all the toys to herself. We did not see that here, but now are seeking a home without other dogs or with someone who is willing to teach her to share and give her time to acclimate to her new surroundings.
She is crate trained and loves toys. Her short term adoptive mom said she has had problems with Ana's housetraining and that she had messed in her crate there. She did not have any accidents in her crate in foster care but she may have been through too many changes and now is totally confused. She may well need some additional work and patience on the part of her next family. She is very petite, under 17 pounds, and will make someone a wonderful companion.
