April is a 5-year-old female who came into rescue with Angel who reportedly was her sibling. Both dogs were surrendered by a person who was quite elderly. They were in a Central Illinois shelter that was running out of space. The dogs were quite matted and urine soaked. In the case of April it was impossible to save her coat. She is now a skin head. She will have a lot of coat when it grows back. She learned about a crate since coming into rescue and does appear to be housetrained. At first she was s a bit shy but seems now seems to be coming out of her shell and is a happy gal. She really does not like loud noises so she probably would do better in a quieter home. She is a bigger Cocker weighing about 30 pounds.
